I have a huge head and have a very hard time finding hats to fit. I was always jealous of Carl's hat and just assumed that Deadwax didn't have anything that would fit my gigantic dome. I tried one on expecting to be disappointed but they stocked the hat in an XL/XXL. Now I look amazing without cutting off bloodflow to my brain. Double win!

Don't miss the $1 vinyl bins. I picked up five albums and all were in fine shape. Some gems in those bins! I love flipping through each time I'm in the store.

I made an 830 appointment, I got there 15 minutes early. I was let in on time and the process was smooth. I was able to get the vinyl that was on my list except for one. It’s all good, I had another great experience.

My RSD shopping experience was fantastic. I was able to get most of the records I wanted to get. The only thing I would change is give the individual numbered customer more time to walk through the store and specifically have all the records for RSD on one row. I know it’s not about that kind of way and experience but that is what it has evolved to these days . I wouldn’t allow people to sign up via internet for their place in line. I would do booked appointment in store only line starts at closing of the store the night before RSD day. All in all it was a fantastic experience though this year.

I wish they had all the records I wanted but I understand it was rsd day and they were busy besides that it was very organized and put together

I felt that the appointment approach to Record Store Day went very well and was very smooth for the time I was there. You could tell that Carl and Krysten worked very hard to provide their customers with a great shopping experience and I feel like their efforts definitely paid off.

Deadwax Records really knocked RSD 2025 out of the park this year. Being able to select a shopping time and avoiding the all-night, long lines was the only reason I participated in RSD this year. It was easy, stress-free, and an overall exceptional experience! I love being able to support my small, family-owned, neighborhood record store and hope they keep this format moving forward. Deadwax Records ROCKS!! 🤘
